Your full name, address, and detailed health records are requested only if you choose to proceed with an application.

The rates displayed represent what each carrier would offer for the health classification you selected in the quote tool. Your actual premium may differ after the carrier completes underwriting, at which point your health class may be confirmed, upgraded, or adjusted. This site does not constitute an offer of insurance or a price guarantee.

Clicking Apply takes you into a secure application portal managed by the carriers' own system, with your answers pre-filled from your quote. Whether a medical exam is required depends on the carrier you choose, the coverage amount, and your answers to the health questions. Some carriers now offer expedited approval without exams for eligible applicants. Each quote on this site indicates the exam requirement for that specific carrier and coverage amount.

A term length should match the period during which an income loss would cause hardship: paying off a mortgage, raising children, building a business. Longer terms carry higher monthly costs but lock in the rate for more years. The quote tool allows you to compare 10-, 15-, 20-, 25-, and 30-year terms so you can see the cost differences.
